After years of caring for both her own and other people's pets, Aaryn Peterson decided to combine her love for both animals and the outdoors to create a new livelihood for herself - RainDog Walking & Hikes. The goal  is simple: to help people provide the best life possible for their pets. RainDog became a reality in February 2008. 

Aaryn's experience with animals began early with her childhood pets - cats, birds, rabbits, and a dog - and continued with an after-school volunteer shift at a local veterinarian's office. She has since volunteered for several animal shelters as a dog walker and foster home, and currently gives her time to support the efforts of Pacific Northwest Border Collie Rescue and Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. Aaryn shares her home with her own Border Collie, Aspen.
